The only complaint I have is that you should have a compressor on your kills with some more attack so the volume is even. You sometimes fade away too much.

I like how you made it all fit so extremly well in the mix.
The drums as the user below me said are awesome.
I like how you use rythmic patterns like triplets and straight combined from time to time.
Suberb melodies . Nice leads.
Bass is awesome as well. Reminds me of the bass in Metroid.

First I'm gona start with some hate. I hate your guitars.
I like the structure of the song alot. The small tweaky sounds made it very atmospheric. I really like the symphonies from Mein Hertz Brennt. Can say much else then fucking great work as always!

The sound!

It sounds almost authentic to the original. Except this one has better quality :P This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I like your arrangement . But there are some things that still sound too much out of place for me to like them. But extremly great mixing. Snare sounds awesome. Bass and acoustic guitars , truly amazing. May I ask what kind of Mics you use ?

For this recording I used a Rhode drumkit mic set that was available at York college for me, and then i recorded the bass and acoustic guitar at home using simply an SM57 and an SM58. It's the best quality recording i've ever got without using a condenser mic!

Very nicely done.

This really disserves som credit.
I really liked the overall mix. And the mic placements sound awesome.
I also Like the reverb. But there is one thing I find strange. Since there are so much reverb on the guitars how come there are none on the people in the background ?
Anyways. Half done the song get's a bit worse. I still like the style and all. Though the guitar misses it's tones too much. But anyways good work and keep it up.

Haha thanks ! we only put reverb on the overdubbed guitar parts. it's quite funny how you comment on liking the quality of the mix as this track literally took 1 hour to record and mix! and we just arranged some classical tunes and some of our own tunes on the spot to do it. thanks for the review!

if you listen closely to the main tune, i especially like what we did with the harmonics of exactly the same notes. it's hard to notice.

I really like this song.

It's a bit boring as Gravey1 the almighty asshole says. Still , I like it. Alot.
Quite well produced and all. Don't really like ez fuck my mum in the ass drummer. But it works. And If you don't have anything else go ahead. Gravey1 doesn't know shit about metal. I tell you. He has never EVER had a feeling about how metal should be. And it pisses me of to hell that he keeps giving people low ratings on the heavy metal scene cause He doesn't know shit about metal. Ok back to the song. Enough hating. Nice drum programming and all. But try to think about the velocitiy changes etc. Cause they sound extremly programmed sometimes. Perhaps that is your approach to your sound. But if you want it to sound "real" . Try to think like a real drummer. Other than that. Awesome. And Fuck Gravey1 in the ass.

I'm glad you like it dude! Like I said though, I really just popped this out because I started it a good 5 months ago and rerecorded the beginning twice already, so I was like "fuck this I wanna be done with this fucking song fuck fuck fuck" etc etc And I'm also happy that I'm not the only one with that view on gravey. Also, this is with my old program to future recordings will have better production, and better drums!

I totally forgot about this . This is an awesome song. Reminds me of bands like Trivium , All that remains etc. Solid intro. Great Bass sound. I really like what you have done with your drums. You seem to take advice really well. Best sounding EZ I've heard so far. And I'm serious. But , the snare seems to get lost in the mix. And the single tone lead on 1.13 could use some vibrato so it doesn't sound so stiff , if you know what I mean. Great use of piano and Ambience effects. Solid breakdown at 01.51 I really like your bass tone. It's perfect. The guitars fit well with the reverb/delay . Nice tremolo . Though it makes the drums much louder in volume then the guitars. Other then that , as I said in the beginning . Awesome song. Keep it up.

Yes, I work hard on those drums =) The snare does get lost in the intro, I noticed. It didn't help that I had 4 crushing guitar tracks on that part, but I'll remember that. I have to start mixing to parts of the song, not the overview.

as far as the lead, I liked how it was. I wanted it to sort of sound far away, like a voice. Thanks for the tip though! Thanks dude, I like my bass tone too.

Put together. I really enjoyed the whole song. Nice build up. Ewqls Stormdrum ? I really like the realism of all the instruments. But first when I saw the name I thought as one of the reviewers said below me that this was a Cover of Liquid tension experiments song of the same name. The thing I liked the most with the song is the Volume. It has a very high Db still no clipping. Very well mixed and put together. Keep it up.
