Sounds great man! And I like your orchestral arrangements! What vst's did you use? I'm guessing the trumpet is real? Keep it up man!

sorohanro responds:

Thanks for the review. Yes, trumpet is real, the second trumpet is actually a flugelhorn and the rest is Cinematic Strings Monster Staccatos FREE, Cinesamples orchestral chords (CineOrch) and default Kontakt percussion.

Sweet tune man! Really like your riffs! Keep up the good work man!

l0vemetal responds:

Thanks for the support! :)

Woah holy shit! Have you recorded the drums IRL or have you programmed them? Either way really impressive! Keep up the good work!

Tremulos responds:

I wish they were recorded, but alas they are programmed. Glad you liked it!

Thanka mang. hopefully I'll get some vox or leads done on this pig. haha..Cheers bro.

Sounds good ! I like the clean sound with the chorus . Some things that could help this song become a tighter mix is if you would pan the bass to the center. Cut the guitar track in the beginning so you don't hear the static from your computer monitor. And if you have multitracks for your drums don't use reverb on the whole kit. You get kind of a double hit feel on the quarter notes etc. Also try recording the clean guitar 2 times and panning them fully to the left and right. And put the lead guitar in the middle. The distorted guitar is a bit bright in the mix. But the song is really cozy and has a nice feel to it. Keep up the good work. Oh and good levels on all the instruments.

Thank you very much for your review. In fact I`m still learning to use this program so It`s going to take time to make the songs sound like they should be.I`ll try to get better and post better stuff next time.I`m glad you enjoyed It.

Sounds great man! A little too much low mid around 220-440hz (I think) on the palm mutes they crackle a bit. Other than that it's awesome! Keep up the good work!

Brofist engines engaged: Prepare for maximum impact.

Sounds fucking amazing as always! Amazing job with the overall mix. Great guitar tone . Really love the atmosphere in the song. I think it's too bad that there is a huge break in the song. But at the same time it's what ads the atmosphere. If you don't mind , what do you use for drums because it's sounds amazing! Keep up the good work.

Check them out. I'm sure you'll be interested.

And if you're interested as to how i get that drum tone, Well, there's really a lot of work to get the drums to sound like this and I really can't tell that in only a few sentences.
What you have to know is, how all the tools work and how to use them reasonable. I'm speaking of Multiband compressors, verbs, limiters, fft-filters and so on....

WOW!

I didn´t think this song could get any better. But when you actually can hear the choir singing words instead of just vocals this is EPIC. I think the drums come out a bit too "trebleish" if you know what I mean. But that´s just when they are "alone" they work extremly well in the mix. You know I hate your guitars , but this time they are really good.
Especially after the sitar (steel guitar with lot´s of delay etc :P ) the chug parts sound authentic but the melody on the thinner strings sound like crap , like a synth or something :P I think it´s because you can not hear the stroke of the pick or the fact that a good guitarist would have to do much more vibratos to gain that kind of sustain. Strings sound incredible , harp sounds awesome , really like the double bass sound in the beginning and the pizzecato from the violins and cellos . Tubular bells sound awesome in the mix , not too bright or anything they are perfect. the trombones or trumets in the beginning sound a bit too bright and start to loose their original character of sound. But it works in the mix . Piano is awesome! Incredible fucking great work as always! Keep up the good work. Oh yeah , I was sort of expection vocals on this song since you are borrowing my shit ;)

Lashmush responds:

Ultima Eternus will never have lyrics, but I might record a few blarghs and rawrs for the later parts.

Great big thanks on the review. I'll be sure to do some tweaks to it before I release the free and lossless versions respectively!

I'm still open to the idea of you doing guitarsolos for UE you know... Xenogenocide has also shown interest in that department which could lead (get it?) to some epic guitar dueling in part 3, 4 or 5. :3

I try to do music.
