Seems as if one can't run out of bad luck.
I have ordered new computer parts and installed them because my old one was barely keeping up with my music.
Often when I had great ideas I couldn't finish them due to my processor and ram memory.
Now when I have great shit (Qcore 6600 4 gb Pc6400 ram gigabyte motherboard and a 9600 geforce gt)
My OS says NO.
Vista is absolutely great in many ways. But one thing bothering me is that even though I am the admin of my own computer. Vista tells me that I'm not.
And for my programs to work I need to copy a file in to the System 32 folder.
But I haven't found a solution yet to make me be the BOSS of my own computer. And since I feel like VIsta is the most stable version of the OS:s that I use. I don't feel like going back to xp.
But if I can't solve this problem I might have to buy Cubase 4 which is very expensive.
And since I've newly moved into a new apartment I can't say that my money is piling up.
I'm working 7 days a week and going to school at the same time.
But I want to make music.
So if anyone knows a solution , please tell me!
Other then buying Cubase 4 (that costs a shitload of money)
The thing is that my other programs costed a shitload of money too.
So no you won't be hearing from me unless I fix this problem.
Cheers.
Mich
That sucks...
Maybe you can try shutting down your computer, then turning it on again and then tap F8
Then you can select to boot windows in safe mode, which should give you the ability to move that file into system32.
pm me back, because I prob won't check here.
